随着儿童近视率日益增长，及早控制其发展至关重要。如果不加以控制，近视可能增加未来发生严重眼病的风险，例如视网膜脱离、青光眼、白内障与黄斑变性。近视控制有助于减缓度数加深，从而降低这些长期风险。As childhood myopia becomes increasingly common, controlling its progression early matters enormously. Left unmanaged, myopia raises the lifetime risk of serious conditions including retinal detachment, glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration. Myopia control slows that progression and lowers those long-term risks.

角膜塑形镜是一种在夜间睡眠时配戴的特殊隐形眼镜，透过轻柔地暂时改变角膜形状来矫正视力，是我们用于青少年近视控制的主要方案之一。镜片需依据角膜地形图仪测得的三维角膜数据量身设计。Ortho-K lenses are specialty contact lenses worn while you sleep. They gently and temporarily reshape the cornea to correct vision, and are one of our primary tools for childhood myopia control. Each lens is custom-designed from 3D corneal topography measurements.

一般建议每年进行一次全面眼科检查。若医师怀疑有青光眼等需要追踪的状况，通常会安排每六个月复查一次，以确保及时确诊与治疗。An annual comprehensive exam is generally recommended. If your doctor suspects a condition such as glaucoma that needs monitoring, follow-up every six months is typical to ensure timely diagnosis and treatment.
